Throwback Thursday: Summer Setlist Pt. 4
Summer is in full swing! This week’s Throwback Thursday has some of the best summer hits in the K-Pop industry. Whether played at the beach, by the pool, or at other fun occasions, get ready to get on your feet and feel the heat!
“Holler” - Girls’ Generation-TTS
Get ready to get glammed up for a night of fun because Girls’ Generation-TTS’s “Holler” is the perfect summer night jam. Sometimes there are days where you just want to be spontaneous, have fun, and party it up during the night. Whether “Holler” is played during a party or while you’re getting ready, this song is sure to pump you up. Once the song gets going, you can’t help but get sucked into its catchy beat and vibe. Just like the TTS members in the music video, you’ll be up dancing and having a good time. Make sure to add this to your summer playlist and get ready to jam out.
“I’m Serious” - DAY6
DAY6’s “I’m Serious” is next up as it is another happy, fun song to play during the summer. In the music video, the DAY6 members are seen having fun as they embark on a getaway trip to a place close to the beach. What better way to beat the heat than by going to the beach, right? With a playful, energetic vibe throughout the music video, you’ll find yourself smiling and warming up to the happy mood. If you need a song to lift up your spirits, especially for the summer, make sure to check out and listen to DAY6’s “I’m Serious.”
“365 Fresh” - Triple H
Closing out this week’s Throwback Thursday is Triple H’s “365 Fresh.” As an explanation for new fans, Triple H is a collaboration unit from CUBE Entertainment which consists of members E’Dawn and Hui from PENTAGON and solo artist HyunA. Together, these three released a funky, 80s/90s-influenced track that is sure to get stuck in your head. While the music video is actually a lot darker in terms of plot and not necessarily summer-related, the song itself is one fit for the season thanks to its catchy beat. Like the other songs listed this week, this is a great track to put on while going for a drive or to simply play at a party. It’s another great recommendation to add to your summer playlist, as it will surely not disappoint!
