SEVENTEEN is AJU NICE
SEVENTEEN made their debut on May 26, 2015, under Pledis Entertainment and gained traction with their title track “Adore U.” Since their debut, the group has released 18 albums, including four studio albums, three repackaged albums, 10 extended plays, and one compilation album. SEVENTEEN won their first daesang in 2019 for “Artist of the Year” at the Asian Artist Awards, and since then, their career has taken off.
The 13-member boy group has set multiple records for each of their albums, but the iconic hit song “VERY NICE” was released on July 4, 2016, and has held its iconic title since then. As of 2022, the title track has over 100 million streams on Spotify and YouTube. In August 2021, “VERY NICE” ranked No. 80 on MelOn’s Top 100 K-Pop Masterpieces. The title track also entered at No. 2 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart a week after its release. The loud dance-pop track continues to gain traction to this day and the group still uses it at their concerts during their encore, where they sing the chorus multiple times and dance with their fans.
The Music Video
The music video contains very colorful scenes of each one of the members trying to gain attention from the female lead. The iconic dance scenes of the group in their button ups and suspenders shows the groups dance dynamic and allows the viewers to dance along with them. Throughout the video, you’ll see the members fall back in shock while confetti shoots out of their hearts after expressing the unknown feeling of being interested in the lead. The music video allows the viewer to imagine themself as if they're also trying to get the female lead while also dancing to the melody of the song.
SEVENTEEN is constantly breaking records and setting new boundaries. They recently finished their U.S. leg of their BE THE SUNworld tour and are now finishing it off in Asia. While their fans, CARATs, wait for new projects from the group, they’ll continue to watch them shine.
