pH-1 and Keita Join Forces on “Metronome”

Following the end of Boys Planet, pH-1 and Ciipher rapper Keita teamed up to drop their first joint single "Metronome."

The single is produced by BRONZE, with his usually distinctive city pop vibe restructured into a funky-yet-light hip-hop sound that is familiar to a summer pH-1 track as he intended.

Each verse is intentional with lyrics oozing with confidence as they sit comfortably in the faces of people who doubted them, watching them seethe in jealousy while they’re as relaxed as can be. "If you ask me nicely I might put you on, money coming steady on some metronome."

Like a metronome, the duo are synchronized and their artistic flows blend together to create a track that radiates the summer heat. They're locked in for real.

The duo were joined together recently on the MNET survival program, Boys Planet, where they both participated as mentor and contestant.

Coincidentally, Keita had chosen to use a pH-1 song as one of his audition songs for the competition. pH-1 had long shown his support for the 22-year-old on the show, even commenting under his own post once the show had ended: "Keita 는 연락해~  작업하지ㅎㅎ.”

The collaboration was brought together by two individuals who recognized their synergy and simply wanted to create music. "Metronome" is refreshing to listen to and an easy repeat for the summer. Hopefully we can expect to hear more from this duo in the future!

"Metronome" is available now on Spotify and all streaming platforms.
