Even as TWICE reaches their tenth anniversary next week, the group shows no signs of slowing down. Since their debut on October 20, 2015, the girl group has kept putting out music through multiple projects. While their special tenth anniversary album, TEN: The Story Goes On, features solo tracks for all members, many members also have individual discographies. TWICE’s story has led to four solo careers and a Japanese sub-unit.

Nayeon

Nayeon became the first TWICE member to start a solo career on June 24, 2022. The title track “POP!” delivers pure sunshine that mirrors Nayeon’s optimistic personality. Nayeon’s star power shines even more in her follow-up title track, “ABCD,” released last year. Off her NA EP, “ABCD” shows how Nayeon controls the stage with a confident and sexy presence in this hip-hop song. Across Nayeon’s two EPs, listeners will also find surprising duets with Felix from Stray Kids, K-hip-hop artist Wonstein, Sam Kim, and Julie from KISS OF LIFE

Jihyo

It was time to dive into Jihyo’s ZONE on August 18, 2023. Jihyo shows an irresistible allure in “Killin’ Me Good,” an R&B song about the overwhelming spark of love. TWICE’s leader holds both lyric-writing and composition credits for most songs on her seven-track EP. ZONE also includes “Talkin’ About It,” an English track with a feature from American rapper 24kgoldn, and “Don’t Wanna Go Back,” a duet with HEIZE. “Killin’ Me Good” received an English version on September 23, 2023, a natural progression as TWICE gradually released English group songs.

Tzuyu

In her solo debut title track “Run Away,” Tzuyu declares, “You’ll see a side of me no one’s ever seen before.” Released on September 6, 2024,  Her abouTZU EP exemplifies this line with a range of sounds across six songs. The disco-inspired sound of “Runaway” may sound retro, but this performance by Tzuyu shows something new from her. abouTZU comes off mellow, much like Tzuyu’s exterior image. Highlights of the EP include “Lazy Baby (Feat. pH-1);” Her English duet with BTOB’s Peniel, “Heartbreak in Heaven;” and Fly,” Tzuyu’s self-written song.

Chaeyoung

TWICE’s main rapper, Chaeyoung, launched her solo career September 12, 2025. In addition to her rap position, Chaeyoung is also a versatile singer and creative artist. The nine-track EP LIL FANTASY vol.1 serves as the perfect opportunity to showcase her full skillset. With her contributions towards lyrics, composition, and arrangement, LIL FANTASY vol.1 comes chock full of indie and dream pop sounds. The dance song “SHOOT (Firecracker),” a title track sung in English, urges listeners to approach with feelings “from [the] heart.”

MISAMO (Mina, Sana, and Momo)

TWICE’s Japanese members, Mina, Sana, and Momo, debuted as TWICE’s first sub-unit with a masterpiece of an album. This sub-unit promotes exclusively in Japan, and released their first album on July 26, 2023. The title track “Do not touch”  sets the tone for an elegant and chic sub-unit. They made a comeback on November 6, 2024, with the album HAUTE COUTURE and its title track “Identity.” While none of MISAMO are also soloists yet, this album features the solo songs “Misty (MINA),” “Money in My Pocket (MOMO),” and “Mirage (SANA).”

Though Jeongyeon and Dahyun have not released additional songs of their own, “FIX A DRINK (JEONGYEON)” and “CHESS (DAHYUN)” show their strengths. It is unknown whether they will pursue solo careers, but this year began their acting careers. Dahyun made her acting debut as a lead in the movie You Are the Apple Of My Eye, which premiered in theatres on February 21. Jeongyeon will make her acting debut as a nurse in New Recruit: The Movie, slated for a future release.
