New Girl Group Recommendations

Recently, I've been discovering more girl groups that I had never listened to before, either due to them being new on the scene or through me having not gotten around to checking them out yet. Thankfully, I have widened my listening and now I can share some new music for those of you wanting to discover some new girl groups to add to your playlists. Here are three new groups I would recommend listening to.

"동글게 동글게 (round and round)” - ifeye

Having only debuted in April 2025, rookie girl group ifeye has already made a strong impression on the K-Pop scene, quickly becoming one of my favorite girl groups with only two EPs to their name. While a difficult decision, having to choose just one song from ifeye’s B-side discography, the song that stands out to me the most is "동글게 동글게 (round and round)," the third track from their second EP sweet tang. "동글게 동글게 (round and round)" effortlessly curates a dreamy ambience with the members' soft, blissful vocals, and a sweet, Jersey Club beat that offers both high energy and calming, mellow qualities. It is an addictive track (from a thoroughly impressive EP) that shows ifeye to already be on their way to great success in the music industry.

“Never Be Me” - HITGS

Rookie group HITGS brings back the cute, youthful, girl group charm we all love in "Never Be Me," the second track from The 1st Single Album -  [Things we love : H].  Despite making their debut in April 2025, "Never Be Me" emits 90’s pop tones with an electropop-influenced chorus that feels strongly nostalgic but also fresh and new. With charming vocals, “Never Be Me” becomes a sweet, addictive, and endearing feel-good track that leaves listeners in high anticipation for HITGS’s future releases.

“Mood” - RESCENE

From their second single album, Dearest, RESCENE delivers mellow and dreamy sounds in their song “Mood.” With soft, emotive vocals, the RESCENE members deliver heavenly, captivating vocal tones with impressive high notes and stunning vocal charms. The elongated way in which the word “mood” is sung in the chorus is one of my favorite parts of the song, with this also becoming a memorable section that leaves a lasting impression on the listener's mind. With it being just over one year since the girl group’s debut in 2024, I can’t wait to hear what other dynamic sounds RESCENE has to offer in the future.
