Throwback Thursday: K-Pop and K-Hip-Hop/K-R&B From A to Z (Letter “E” Edition)

We’ve gone through the letters “A,” “B,” “C,” and “D,” and now it is time for the letter “E.” Finding songs that begin with the letter “E” was harder than I expected, but after digging through multiple playlists, I finally found one. So, let’s take it back and talk about some songs that begin with the letter “E.”
LE SSERAFIM - “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife”
On May 1, 2023, LE SSERAFIM released their jam-packed album UNFORGIVEN, an album filled with 13 songs that we know and love, plus some new gems. One of the new songs on the album that many love to sing and dance to is their groovy track “Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife.” It’s an upbeat track with a danceable beat and very addictive lyrics. After one listen, you will find yourself doing the fun arm movements in the choreography, and singing, “I’m a mess, mess, mess, mess, mess, mess, mess-” the entire day. The girls do an amazing job of making this song iconic and ensuring it remains super memorable. To this day, many love to dance along to this song, and when it comes to dance, there are going to be so many fun ones. It is such a fun song that will have you partying like you are at a gathering.
WANNA ONE - “Energetic”
On August 8, 2017, the iconic and very well-known and loved K-Pop boy group WANNA ONE released their debut EP 1X1=1 (To Be One). For those who don’t know, WANNA ONE is a group formed from the survival show Produce 101. When the boys made their highly anticipated debut, the K-Pop community didn’t know what we were in store for. On that EP, is their well-known track “Energetic,” a track that many would consider one of the best K-Pop debut songs out there. Just as the title suggests, “Energetic” is an upbeat song with a danceable beat, and fun lyrics. The song is very fun to listen to. Every time you listen to this song, the captivating vocals drag you in, and when you are listening you can hear the energetic tone in their voices. It goes down in history as a memorable debut and with the recent announcements of a return from the members, everyone is filled with anticipation.
AOA - “Excuse Me”
On January 2, 2017, FNC Entertainment girl group AOA released their jam-packed album Angel’s Knock. With 10 songs you are bound to find a favorite and one that everyone seems to love is the title track, “Excuse Me.” It’s an upbeat track with a sensual sound that will make you sway your hips, just like them. AOA were one of the many girl groups who knew how to take a concept and excel in it. “Excuse Me” is a cute song, with an equally cute dance. After one listen, you will find yourself saying “Excuse me, cuse me baby cuse me cuse me” all day long. “Excuse Me” is a fun song that will have you ready to dance.
