The members, Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna put their all into this release, and it has gone down in history as one of the most iconic debuts. Ever since 2019, the girls have released hit after hit and continue to release such impactful tracks that stand the test of time. So let’s take it back and talk about some iconic ITZY tracks.

“DALLA DALLA” - IT’z Different - Single

On February 12, 2019, ITZY released their debut album IT’z Different - Single. This single release features two upbeat tracks that are a lot of fun to listen to. One of those songs is their iconic title track “DALLA DALLA.” Starting with an electrifying build-up, the song's intensity remains high and strengthens as it progresses. “DALLA DALLA” is a track that centers on the high energy of the members by showcasing the elevated power the girls have in their vocals and choreography. Throughout the song, the members are vocally in a bright, heightened tone, creating a more energetic, upbeat sound and spirit. The choreography for “DALLA DALLA” is a lot of fun. To this day, many fans perform covers of this dynamic dance, and it remains energetic and forceful in each move. The choreography focuses on striking arm movements and fast-paced legwork. There are moments when the girls jump mid-choreography, moving their arms in sync with one another and performing intricate finger movements. There is a lot of energy with this song, and the moment it was released, fans couldn’t wait to hear what the girls had next.

“THAT’S A NO NO” - IT’z ME

On March 9, 2020, ITZY released their iconic mini-album IT’z ME. This release was jam-packed, with the title track, “WANNABE,” being one of their most iconic songs to date. One B-side on the mini-album has seen a resurgence in the K-Pop scene. Videos of fan covers have circulated online, drawing renewed attention to "THAT'S A NO NO,” a high-energy track with synth accents and live-band instrumentation that will have listeners on their feet. Sticking to that signature ITZY sound, which is high-energy pop, the girls' vocals are higher-pitched, giving listeners that energetic feel that the song portrays. The choreography to this track is dynamic. The dance is fast-paced and requires a great deal of energy due to its striking movements. There are moments when the girls are spinning in circles, making intricate arm movements, low movements, and switching in placements. It takes a lot of precision to ensure everyone is in their proper positions and moving in sync. “THAT’S A NO NO” is a fun song and is exciting to many to see it being promoted again.

“In the Morning” - GUESS WHO - EP

On April 30, 2021, ITZY released an EP with no skips, GUESS WHO. It’s home to many tracks that are favorites for many listeners. One track on the EP that listeners cannot get enough of is their well-known title track “In the Morning.” “In the Morning” is a synth-heavy track that is accompanied by heavy bass and an electrifying instrumental. The members sing in a lower register on this track, which grabs your attention when the song starts. With a darker theme as the release's concept, the song differs from the previous songs we were getting at the time in both aesthetics and sound. Much of the track's impact is rooted in its choreography. The dance, while still striking with its movements, intensifies as the song progresses. The song begins with a moment many fans love to see: member Ryujin's center work. The choreography is slowed down, but when they reach the chorus, they whip their hair, drop to their knees, and smoothly switch spots. “In the Morning” is a very enticing track with interesting concepts, choreography, and vocals, and has become a favorite amongst many.
