fromis_9 Dedicates Special Single “from” to Fans

fromis_9 has released their last single under Pledis Entertainment, “from.” The song expresses gratitude towards their fandom, flover, for supporting them since 2018. The single came out on December 23, shortly before fromis_9’s exclusive contract with Pledis Entertainment expires on December 31. fromis_9 joined the company in August 2021.

fromis_9 has wrapped up all their emotions into a gift for flover. With lyrics written by fromis_9’s members—Saerom, Hayoung, Jiwon, Jisun, Seoyeon, Chaeyoung, Nagyung, and Jiheon—“from” reflects on the love they received over the course of their career. The song features a soft pop instrumental composed by Hayoung and music producers Jin Jeon and Heon Seo. Jeon previously helped compose fromis_9’s summer hit “Supersonic,” which remains on the MelOn Top 100 Chart since its August release. Though the single does not come with a music video, the group shows their sincerity through their expressive singing and contributions in the song’s creative process. 

fromis_9 will continue all activities scheduled under Pledis Entertainment until the end of the year. They will perform at the 2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon on December 31, 2024. Though future activities have not been clarified, fromis_9 has not officially disbanded. fromis_9 approaches their seven-year anniversary in January.
