NiziU “RISE UP” With New Release
The Japanese JYP Entertainment girl group has released their first album since their Korean debut.

Despite the album's brevity, RISE UP is considered NiziU’s first Japanese EP.
The first track “RISE UP” was pre-released in Japanese, English, and Korean on July 7. Two weeks later, the dance performance was released on Youtube. The video features the nine members in black outfits that are unique to each of them.
The song’s electrifying beat, paired with the enticing choreography, makes for an addictive music video. The video’s playful visuals are eye-catching and well-paced as the girls run up buildings and unravel the world. They walk among the clouds where they break the barrier between the Earth and sky.
The EP’s two tracks serve as the opening and ending theme of Tower of God Season 2, the series in which the group's labelmates Stray Kids sang the OSTs for in the previous season.
NiziU held their first fan meeting in Yokohama on June 1 and 2, and will hold two more in Osaka on July 27 and 28 where they will showcase this latest release.
