The Long-Awaited EVERGLOW Return Is Here With New Release, CODE - EP

It has been two years since EVERGLOW's last release. The girls and their striking concepts/sound were highly missed, and now that they are back, everything feels right. Their new release, CODE - EP, features four songs that capture that signature EVERGLOW sound. Hard-hitting EDM beats, with a catchy flow and addictive chorus.

The title track “CODE” is a commanding, danceable ball of fire. “CODE” has a strong EDM presence that is so electrifying that you can’t help but feel hype throughout the entire song. The song is pretty short, but it still packs a punch. A song perfect for a rave, the track has a lot of high-energy flows that will have you either jumping up and down or swaying along to the beat. The girls are filled with energy, and you can hear the excitement in each member's lines. Speaking of lines, the song is very addictive, and after one listen, you will find yourself singing the song all day long. “Drop it like it’s hot. Drop it, this is how we done (we done). Drop it like it’s hot. Getting wild wild.” It’s a fun song that has an equally fun instrumental, vibe, and concept.
Speaking of the concept, the music video is so cool. With a very punk clothing concept, the girls take that dark concept and add a very cool remix. The futuristic theme is eye-catching and adds a new look to the already dark concept. The music is shot in what seems to be a single set, but they utilize it to its fullest potential. The girls also do a great job of utilizing the props. The grainy video footage on the TV is a nice added touch that really stood out. “CODE” is a really cool song that was a great comeback from the girls.
